Progress

It has been awhile. And there are lots of new items in the shop, from new bathing suits and collectable finds from all over the world.

I especially love candles and enjoy curating a collection that is specific, but so fun and chic, it would please anyone.

The world is returning to busy, but I find myself at an extraordinary level of busy with the Woodshed Wine Company Tasting Room set to open early summer. If you’ve driven past us on Worden Hill Road (between The Black Walnut Inn and Alexia Tasting Room and Vineyard), you have probably seen early work of our small footprint and tasting room. The tasting room was designed by Field Work Design and constructed by Cellar Ridge Construction. Anthony and I based early ideas on the look and feel of the tasting room - we thought The National’s Long Pond Studio really evoked what we are trying to get out there. It’s an inside-outside barn of sorts- lots of Scandinavian detail, highly modern. Yet it lies in it’s space within the forest of Doug Fir trees and blends in nicely. Of course it’s going to contain a lot of glass and is be painted black. And yes, it comes with a big mood set to the tone of Sleep Well Beast and others.
