Fall activities around town

This time of year in Oregon Wine Country is beautiful; blue skies, high heat, and endless sunshine to get those pinot noir grapes to maturity. They are harvested at our Murto Vineyard late October.

In the meantime, I like to get out and find fall activities for the fam…by far, the best pumpkin patch is Yesteryear Pumpkin Patch and Christmas Tree Farm. They have an adorable gift shop, character visits for Halloween and Christmas, and food trucks galore. My girls are ready for the Kona Ice Truck! They also do photo shoots for holiday cards and have cute vintage trailers and trucks to enjoy. Check out their schedule- it will certainly keep you busy in fall into the holiday season.

I also enjoy stopping by some of my local favorite restaurants where I’m often working remotely at a picnic table. Red Hills Market has the tastiest treats and cocktails and they also carry our wines! Their gift shop is also excellent with a wide array of gift choices. Trellis down the road has a great burger and a nice patio in the shade to enjoy the best local wines.
